LIVESTRONG Challenge, Philadelphia, PA
Dr. Joaquin once again participated in the Lance Armstrong Foundation LIVESTRONG Challenge in Philadelphia on August 26, 2007, to help make a difference in the battle against cancer. (Read Dr. Joaquin's story)
His team, Cyclists Combating Cancer, was able to raise over $500,000 for LAF during the five LIVESTRONG Challenge events in 2006, raising $115,000 just for the Philadelphia event alone. They hope to have exceeded that amount this year.
